The Chesapeake Humane Society (CHS) operates an adoption center and a low-cost, high-volume clinic, offering preventative veterinary care, spay/neuter surgery, dentals, and various surgical procedures. Veterinary Assistant / Administrative Assistant: Veterinary Assistants aid in restraint, surgical preparation and recovery, and counseling of clients under the direction of the Licensed Veterinary Technician and Medical Director. Adminstrative Assistants are responsible for scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and processing medical paperwork and transactions. Part-time and dual-role opportunities are available.
Associate Veterinarian: Our Associate Veterinarian performs high-quality surgical procedures and other routine veterinary services in a fast-paced setting. The incumbent shall uphold and abide by clinic and shelter protocol as set by the Medical Director. We are considering part-time and full-time applicants.
