Pet Food Pantry
Chesapeake Humane Society’s Pet Food Pantry helps individuals and families in need feed their pets. To date, the Pet Food Pantry has distributed hundreds of pounds of donated food to area pet owners. By offering this temporary assistance, Chesapeake Humane Society hopes to decrease the number of pets surrendered to shelters for financial reasons.
The Chesapeake Humane Society requires all pets receiving food from the pantry to be spayed or neutered and rabies vaccinated. Low cost spay and neuter resources are available.
