Join Us for the 4th Annual CHS Shelter Slumber Pawty!
Get ready to eat, sleep, and “pawty” with shelter pets at Chesapeake Humane Society’s 4th Annual Shelter Slumber Pawty, happening April 18-19, 2026! This 24-hour fundraising event gives participants a unique opportunity to experience life at the shelter while raising critical funds to support CHS programs – including pet adoptions, crisis boarding, our pet pantry, and low-cost veterinary services.

Join us for our Late-Night Adoption Event and Community Block Pawty!
4-8 PM Shelter Open House
Visit with adoptable animals, support the Slumber Pawty participants, vote for the best decorated kennels, and more! Pajamas are welcome and encouraged!

FREE Outdoor Family Movie
Bring your own chairs
Donate a bag of dry dog or cat food and receive free popcorn!
